Fear Free
Why it feels calmer.
At Bonnie Mara Animal Hospital, we are fear free veterinary professionals. We are certified to recognize signs of fear, anxiety and stress in our patients, and to minimize it. We thoughtfully designed our hospital to minimize stress, and will work with you to help make your visit as fear free as possible.
For pets with a high stress level, we’ll encourage longer visits to allow them to adjust, or pre-visit anti-anxiety medication so they can relax during their appointment and learn to trust us.
Patient accommodations
Where hospitalized pets stay.
At Bonnie Mara Animal Hospital, we know that stainless steel cages can be cold, loud and scary to our patients. When designing the hospital, we kept this in mind and opted for patient accommodations that are thoughtfully designed to reduce noise, stress and anxiety.
In addition to being individually warmed, they offer different types of soft lighting to make the stay in the hospital as pleasant as possible. We also take care to have an entirely separate area for cats, so they can rest comfortably away from dogs.
